Situated in the heart of the village of Old Basing, just moments away from the historic site of the Basing House ruins, Oliver's Bakehouse is open to serve you the finest selection of hot and cold food and drink to eat on the premises or to take-away. Traditional loaves, and a range of speciality breads, are baked overnight to ensure you'll enjoy the freshest sandwiches in the area, generously filled with the finest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. And it does not end there - as well as sandwiches, our food offering extends to hot savoury products such as filled croissants, baguette pizzas and roast vegetable puff pastry tartlets, as well as pain-au-chocolat and other sweet delights. Traditional hot breakfasts are served from 7.30am and throughout the rest of the day. Hot roasts of the day are available from late morning, served on a range of crusty rolls, soft baps and various speciality breads. A separate chilled cabinet is dedicated to homemade cakes, tarts and pastries which you can enjoy with the finest coffee and hot chocolate in the area. Come and visit us soon.
